Civic Health Matters
Civic engagement is not the sole property of government or community members or community institutions – it is everyone’s responsibility.
Health is a cultural, socio-economic, political-environmental issue as well as a personal and individal one.
For now – let’s start to discuss this and consider why this might be important.
I consider the following links as highly relevant to this debate.
From Australia – http://www.onlineopinion.com.au/view.asp?article=5794
From Iraq – http://www.miacat.com/ART_Hope_IRAQ.html
From Malka Kopell in California – http://www.cacities.org/index.jsp?displaytype=11&zone=ilsg§ion=coll&sub_sec=&tert=&story=25968
and now you decide – perhaps Maria Altmann has a point where she advocates “A Political Will for Action” in the United Nations >Economic and social development >Department of Economic and Social Affairs – E-forum

A Healthy society is a diverse society that works with many ideas.
Civic participation and respect are key elements that contribute to the wellbeing of ALL.
Please contribute any ideas you have on how we might improve our lot in areas of Health, Educati on and Training. On Free Speech and or what we can do to resolve the stale mate that is contributing to social isolation, social drift and cronic disadvanage.
All ideas welcome – lets discuss this.
